CBD Storage?

Just like any other natural compound, CBD can deteriorate over time; therefore it is important to have proper storage to ensure maximum potency and quality. Becoming more of a trend each day, CBD is noted for pain management and inflammation management. Now, more people are producing their own CBD concoctions from home. It is important to know the proper storage tips for CBD.

What environment can my CBD withstand?

When it comes to CBD, it’s important to not put CBD  in an environment that is either too moist or too hot. It is crucial for CBD to be stored in a dry, cool area such as a pantry. When it comes to refrigerating CBD, it’s not likely necessary. If your house is relatively hot, putting CBD in the fridge can be your only option. Placing CBD in the fridge will not change its compound nor its efficacy.

In the refrigerator?

When placing CBD in the fridge, sometimes the product can harden and or become thick. This is not a problem; simply running it under some warm water will resolve the issue.

CBD has an incredibly long half-life meaning its expiration date will most likely not be for a while. When purchasing CBD, a lot of manufacturers will display the expiration dates. Most high-quality CBD’s can last anywhere from a year to two years.
